Write-offs that surprised me: My CRM subscription My branded polos Fuel and vehicle maintenance Continuing education and certification fees Even the snacks I keep in the car for long inspection days What my accountant told me: \u201cYour first year is about building good habits. Next year will be easier\u2014because you\u2019ll know what to track, how to categorize it, and what to save for later.\u201d This wasn\u2019t just paperwork.
