Our inspectors do not treat this job like a side-hustle, doing an inspection here and there, taking years to learn how to deliver a superb home inspection and report.Training starts with our partnership with NACHI (National Association of Certified Home Inspections,) which includes 120 hours of advanced system education. The next step is any state requirements with regards to state licensing. These are just the first steps before an inspector takes our IOC corporate training and heads out into the field with a senior inspector. The time in the field with a senior inspector usually ranges from 30 days up to 120 days and is dependent on how quickly someone picks up the nuances, along with their previous work experience. The completion of a fantastic home inspection can be broken down into 3 basic steps:1. go look at a house in to find defects, specifically health and safety2. document the findings into report form, that is usable by the real estate world and their clients.3. summarize at the end of the inspection – we spend time helping the client understand the ins and outs of their new home, along with our findings, and this, of course, needs to be tailored to many different needs of a homebuyer, and the many different personalities of a potential homebuyer. But even the newest inspector isn\u2019t out on an island, our inspection template has been built over the last 14 to 15 years encompassing 15,000+ inspections in many different states, so basically all different types of homes, with many different types of systems having been incorporated into our template. This makes being on-site much easier so the inspector can focus on the property in front of them knowing that most of the defects that could be found at home have been pre-written.Most importantly, for our clients and their agents, what this all means, is that the experience they have with each inspection is very similar to the last it will look very much like the next. With all of the inspectors being trained the same, this ensures that clients and their agents know what to expect and what the inspection experience will be like.\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t"},{"@context":"https:\/\/schema.org\/","@type":"BreadcrumbList","itemListElement":[{"@type":"ListItem","position":1,"name":"What kind of training, certifications and experience do your inspectors have?","item":"https:\/\/homeinspectionsovercoffee.com\/what-kind-of-training-certifications-and-experience-do-your-inspectors-have\/#breadcrumbitem"}]}]
